01
What a teammate is
An AI teammate works for one workspace toward goals you set, such as answering product questions on Instagram or keeping the calendar full. It uses your brand knowledge, your guidelines and only the accounts you give it.
Roles to start from: Community Manager, Growth Manager, Content Manager, Lead Assistant, Support Assistant and Reporting Assistant. Or describe one in Ask SocioAI, for example: Create Maya as our Community Manager for Instagram. Ask before publishing posts. Do not offer discounts.
02
Create one
Open AI Teammates → Create AI Teammate. Nine steps: role, name and avatar (pick one or upload a photo and crop it), accounts, goals, knowledge, authority, limits and routing, preview and review.
A teammate made from a description starts as a draft. It never assumes permission to publish, send, spend credits or use more accounts than you named.
04
Pause, preview and the floating teammate
Pause one teammate from its page, or every teammate at once from the AI Teammates page (owners and admins). Pausing cancels queued work.
Preview runs a teammate on recent or sample messages without sending anything.
The floating avatar shows the active teammate on every page with its real status. Drag it anywhere, hide it for yourself, or turn it off for the workspace in AI Teammates → Settings.
05
What it learns
Teammates remember your approvals, edits and rejections and the results of their actions, so they ask less and do better. Repeated rejections make a teammate ask first again.
Memory is never treated as a fact. In AI Teammates → Settings choose what they learn from, how long memory is kept, and clear it at any time; each teammate's Knowledge tab shows its notes one by one.
