Add Sociomatix as a custom connector

You'll need a Sociomatix account and the server address below. When the AI app asks you to sign in, you choose which workspace it can use.

Claude

Free, Pro and Max. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it once for everyone.

  1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors (Settings → Connectors on older versions) and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Sociomatix and paste the server URL. Leave the sign-in settings as Claude detects them.
  3. Click Connect, sign in to Sociomatix and pick the workspace Claude may use.
  4. In a chat, turn the connector on from the + menu, then ask away.

Team and Enterprise owners add it under Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom; members then press Connect.

ChatGPT

Business, Enterprise and Edu, with full access. Pro can read your workspace in developer mode.

  1. A workspace admin turns on developer mode in Settings → Apps → Advanced settings.
  2. Go to Apps → Create, name it Sociomatix, paste the server URL and choose OAuth sign-in.
  3. Click Scan tools, then Create. Sign in to Sociomatix and pick the workspace.
  4. Start a chat with the Sociomatix app switched on.

OpenAI currently offers saving drafts from custom apps on Business, Enterprise and Edu plans (in beta). On Pro, developer mode allows reading only.

The same approval rules, roles and quality checks you rely on in Sociomatix apply to everything the connector does.

  • You approve everything

    Drafts from Claude or ChatGPT wait in your approval queue. The connector can't publish, delete or reply on your behalf.

  • One workspace, your role

    Each connection sees only the workspace you pick, with the role you have there. Reviewers and viewers can read but not write.

  • Official sign-in, no passwords shared

    Standard OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Your Sociomatix password never reaches the AI app; tokens are stored hashed and each access token expires within an hour.

  • Disconnect in one click

    See and remove every connected app in Settings → Claude & ChatGPT. Access also ends if you leave the workspace.

  • Everything is logged

    Drafts, campaigns and anything else the connector changes appear in Settings → SocioAI activity.

  • Same credits, same prices

    Reading your workspace is free. When the assistant asks SocioAI to write or analyse, it uses your plan's credits at the usual prices.

Do I need a paid Claude or ChatGPT plan?

Custom connectors work on every Claude plan, including Free. In ChatGPT, custom apps that can save drafts are available on Business, Enterprise and Edu plans; Pro can use them in developer mode to read your workspace. Plans and menus can change, so check the app's own help page if a step looks different.

Is Sociomatix an official Claude or ChatGPT app?

No. Sociomatix is an independent product that works with Claude and ChatGPT through the open Model Context Protocol (MCP). We're not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic or OpenAI.

Can Claude or ChatGPT publish posts for me?

No. Everything they create is saved as a draft that waits for a person to approve it in Sociomatix. Your own approval settings and quality checks still apply.

What can the AI app see?

Only the workspace you choose when you connect: its Brain, pillars, posts, approvals, results and leads. It can't see your other workspaces, billing details or connected social account logins.

Does it cost extra?

The connector is included on every Sociomatix plan. Reading is free; asking SocioAI to write or analyse uses credits at the same prices as in the app.

How do I disconnect?

In Sociomatix, open Settings → Claude & ChatGPT and click Disconnect next to the app. You can also remove the connector in Claude or ChatGPT.
